Chaz Mostert is heading across the Tasman Sea for the lone international Supercars event of the 2017 championship season.

New Zealand has plenty for Prodrive Racing to gain as the season nears its conclusion, especially after displaying leading pace in the previous three events, which included a pair of race wins as well as claiming the Pirtek Enduro Cup, they are now looking to add to their tally of five race wins at Pukekohe Park this weekend at the Auckland SuperSprint.

While his teammates have had success at the New Zealand circuit, Chaz Mostert has yet to win at Pukekohe, but having tasted victory in the past six weeks as well as climbing back into championship contention, the young Queenslander has high expectations heading into the penultimate round of the 2017 season

“New Zealand's always a good one,” he said. “To go over the seas there, over the ditch. Obviously the Kiwi drivers have their hometown advantage, home ground advantage, and us Aussies like to go over there and try to stir it up. I'm looking forward to it, it's a nice, fast, flowing track. It's very bumpy, has a lot of character. I love going there, so we'll see how we go.”
