Englishman Danny Willett has won the 2016 Masters after Jordan Speith suffered a final round collapse.

Speith led by as many as five strokes early in his final round, before dropping six shots in the first three holes of the back nine.

The American scored a bogey on the 10th and the 11th and then a disastrous quadruple bogey on the 12th, thanks to hitting two balls in the water on the famous par three.

Willett took full advantage, claiming a three-shot win with a final round five-under-67, to finish five-under for the tournament.

The world No.12, is just the second Englishman to win the green jacket in just his second appearances at Augusta.

Australia Jason Day finished equal 10th at one over, while Adam Scott was 11 over for the tournament after a final round 76.
